Melbourne Town Hall
What a fabulous night with the Australian Institute of Hotel Engineer’s (AIHE) committee and their members. This particular meeting involved the Lord Mayor of Melbourne who shared a great presentation of all things Melbourne. The Lord Mayor also shared a story of another special needs family and how the community of Melbourne helped these parents and other families alike.
The AIHE presented their incredible fundraising efforts for Chiara to Mauro and I. As parents we can’t thank them enough, to provide the level of support and encouragement for Chiara has been a blessing! We look forward to sharing Chiara’s progress with them all and of course she will thank them herself one day 🙂
“How we walk with the broken. Speaks louder, than how we sit with the great” – Bill Benot
This rings true for the AIHE committee and their members, to really take the time to help someone in need and in this case our two year old daughter Chiara who suffered a stroke and as a result is left with a severe brain injury.
This fundraising opportunity all began as a brief conversation between Chris and Anton and then snowballed into something even bigger with the support of Stephen who really took it to the next level and to everyone else who jumped on board.
So thank you for helping us on our quest for a better life for Chiara and for your generosity and support! Fantastic!!
